Sports Massage and Rehabilitation is aimed to help people suffering from pain, injury or illness involving the musculoskeletal system. Although we specialise in sports injuries, we also treat everyday injuries, whether they be through stress, exercise, work related aches and pains or poor posture. We treat and help people of all ages to maintain their health and fitness, recover from/ prevent injury and to reduce pain using exercise, movement and manual based therapeutic interventions. 

Sports Massage is a large part of our treatments, which involves the manipulation of soft tissue (skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments & fascia). The goals are to correct problems/ imbalances after an injury or repetitive stress, to prevent and manage pain, increase muscle elasticity and joint mobility, improve relaxation and stress relief and help improve performance whether you are an athlete or a member of the public. 

As Sports Rehabilitators, we look at the body as a whole, when assessing an injury to try and find the root cause of the problem. Assessment usually includes detailed history, postural and biomechanical assessment, muscle strength & flexibility testing as well as special tests for the injured area.
